Grant County Fire District 7 operates 2 Basic Life Support Ambulances with primarily Volunteer EMT and Driver staffing. Advanced Life Support services are requested as needed from LifeLine Ambulance, Protection 1, Life Flight and AirLift Northwest. Advanced Life Support Incidents make up a small amount of Fire District 7's EMS Transports.

It is the policy of Grant County Fire District 7 that no person will be denied treatment or transport to a definitive care facility, regardless of the patient’s or patient’s family’s ability to pay for service.    

Grant County Fire District 7 bills for EMS Transport services utilizing System Design West. Fire District 7 does not create the bills, monitor billing or collect the money for Ambulance Transport. This is all done by System Design West. Any inquiries regarding a bill, payment or questions should be referred to System Design West. 

BILLING MATRIX

Basic Life Support (BLS) EMS with transport:

Basic Fee: $900

Mileage Charge: $22 per mile (this is from the patient pick-up location to drop-off at the hospital)

Advanced Life Support (ALS) EMS with transport:

Basic Fee: $1,400

Mileage Charge: $22 per mile (this is from the patient pick-up location to drop-off at the hospital)

All types of billable non-transport calls where treatment is provided:

Basic Fee: $150
