If you are planning a controlled burn please let us know. This is not a requirement but it does help out a lot. Fill out the form provided below. This is NOT a permit request form but a simple courtesy notification to the local Fire Department. All rules and regulations still apply as stated in city and/or county code.
How does this help us?
When someone drives by and sees a fire it is most likely going to be called in. Those passing by have no idea if it is indeed a controlled burn or not. Therefore when the fire is reported, someone from the Fire Department (which is made up of 100% volunteers) has to go and check on it to verify if it is controlled or if it needs our immediate attention (e.g wildfire). Help us out and report when you are planning a controlled burn.
Fire District 7 may still respond to the reported fire.
